The prevention of carbonization in cotton.

Carbonization (or carbonisation) is the term for the conversion of an organic substance into carbon or a carbon-containing residue through pyrolysis or destructive distillation.

Method:

  • Methylene blue was then poured onto dilute boric acid and filtered to prepare a special solution.
  • (solution and control) were used in two test cotton.
  • One of the test cotton (solution) is dipping onto a special solution.
  • Cold surface for the carbonization process was performed on a heater.

Dipping: Water and Solution

                                                                  Carbonization start.

Carbonization end.

Gains:

Carbonization is lower in the test of cotton.
Carbonization took place in regional test of cotton and lower levels.

(This special solution) can be used in order to improve the heat resistance of the cotton-based materials.
