The prevention of carbonization in paper.

Carbonization (or carbonisation) is the term for the conversion of an organic substance into carbon or a carbon-containing residue through pyrolysis or destructive distillation.

Method:

  • Methylene blue was then poured onto dilute boric acid and filtered to prepare a special solution.
  • (solution and control) were used in two different test paper.
  • One of the test papers (solution) is dripped onto a special solution.
  • Dried with blotting paper in a solution.
  • Cold surface for the carbonization process was performed on a heater.

Gains:

Front surface

  • Protected with a special solution in the test paper in his forehead marked with black arrows carbonization has not occurred.

Back surfance
  • Protected with a special solution in the test paper in his back face marked with white arrows carbonization has not occurred.

****

  • (This special solution) can be used in order to improve the heat resistance of the cardboard-based packaging.
